Tesla has released new data showing that its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised software performs significantly better than human drivers in the Netherlands. According to data shared by the official Tesla Europe account on X, vehicles with FSD Supervised recorded 3.5 times fewer accidents.
The Data in Detail
The statistics published by Tesla are based on trips in the Netherlands, one of the first EU countries where FSD Supervised was introduced. The accident rate per mile driven is significantly lower for FSD users compared to the average human driver.
Significance for Europe
The Netherlands is a pioneer in approving FSD. After the successful launch, other countries such as Denmark followed. The positive data could put pressure on other EU states to accelerate approval.
