Electric cars accounted for an impressive 97.8 per cent of the Norwegian new car market in May. In the first five months of 2025, the share of EVs stood at 98 per cent. Norway is thus continuing to cement its leading position in electric mobility.

Tesla remains the dominant brand, ahead of Toyota and Volkswagen. This shows that demand for electric vehicles in Norway remains extremely high.
